System Administrator

To succeed in this role, you must be:

* A problem solver; willing and able to troubleshoot problems across a wide array of functional areas · Knowledgeable of current DevOps trends and best practices

* Eager to learn new technologies relatively quickly and share knowledge via documentation

* Willing to participate in a rotating on-call schedule

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

* Linux System Administration: RHEL/CentOS 5,6,7 ------500 plus server

* One or more scripting languages: Bash, Python, Ruby

* Configuration Management tools: Puppet

* Production Server Monitoring: Zabbix (preferred), Nagios, ZenOSS

* Various server platforms: Physical (Client), VMware, Openstack, Cloud (AWS)

* Various database engines: MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL

* Networking; Subnetting, VLANs, Load Balancers

* Agile methodologies: Scrum, Kanban

* Required Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
